This ice luge mould fits into most standard-sized freezers and is easy to fill up through the filling hole. Using filtered water can help to make the ice more clear. Once filled to the filling line at 90%, place into the freezer until frozen. Freezing time depends on the freezer settings but 24/48 hours should be sufficient. Instructions
- Check the white rubber seal is correctly aligned / in the groove before closing the mould (Double Check)
- Make sure tube is connected
- Close all clips and tube ends
- If the mould leaks when filling, unclip and check the alignment of the rubber seal at the point of the leak
- Lay on side to fill
- When filling, only fill to 1cm below top of filling hole on side (as when freezing, the ice will expand ... this could break the mould clips
- When taking the frozen luge out of the mould, first run the mould under running water to loosen
- Make sure all clips are unclipped before trying to open
- Check the rubber tubes at either end are not preventing you separating the mould
- Suggest placing the luge on a tray and keeping in freezer until ready to use
