Dog memes are funny because they give human traits to our canine pals. Everyone loves dogs.  Never trust a person who doesn't like dogs but always trust a dog if he doesn't like a person!     

To celebrate International Dogs day n the 23rd August we have compiled our funniest dog memes for you.  Why is there an International Dogs day we hear you ask? 

This day is celebrated annually on the 26th August and was founded in 2004 by Animal Rescue Advocate Colleen Paige.  The date is significant to her as it was the day she adopted her first rescue dig, Sheltie, from a local shelter when she was 10 years old.
